For ENG 1011

Well, we are supposed to each write an introduction about ourselves in this thing, so I'll start mine since I have nothing better to do at 11:00 on a wednesday evening. My name is Andrea and I'm from a very small town where you ussually always run into someone you know (in a good way). I am English, Irish, French, Italian, German, and Polish. I hope to become a nutrition major and eventually own my own practice after working in a hospital, since I find the whole blood and guts thing a bit interesting. The subject is something i've been looking into for a while though, so i hope it is what i really want to end up pursuing as a career insted of changing my major a million times. I want to have everything all figured out, but I guess that comes with time. I am pretty impatient. My favorite color is blue, i'm afraid of going down escalaters, and I strongly believe that Uconn should bring back trays into it's dining facilities. I did tae kwon do for about 5 years, until i gt my first job as a Barista in a coffee shop. After that i did take out in an italian resteraunt and loved it, and for a few weeks during the summer i hosted at IHOP as a second job for extra money. I am a people person and one of my favorite things to do is bake. So far I am not homesick at all. As an only child, it feels good to live away from home when you have to break your parents in for everything. They are truely the best though, and i feel so fortunate to have thier support , both emotionally and financially. One thing that really bothers me is when people consistently complain about something they have the power to change. I believe that if you want something done, then don't wait around for anyone to do it for you. My favorite subjects in highschool were History and English, except when we were studying Uncle Tom's Cabin and A Tale of Two Cities. I love to make everyone laugh or just happy in general.
